Hairdressers in RRH

The children have loved playing in the new hairdressers today. 

They even had a go with my hair!

Doing some research

Yesterday the children were split into groups, each group was given a sea creature to find out about. We used the iPad to find out information and wrote it all down to remind us later. We then did some writing about the creature in our books. The children really enjoyed being investigators and finding out facts.

Sealife Centre

The children really enjoyed the trip to the Sealife centre today. Here are some photographs from our morning.

 We went on the minibuses for the first time, it was really exciting!

 In the first part of the Sealife centre we were able to touch the creatures. There were starfish, shrimp and crabs.

We saw the 'big Daddy crab'

 These are a type of Eel that bury underneath the sand. We could just see some heads sticking out.
