We used special liquid to paint onto the egg to hatch it. The children spent a lot of time on the activity, persevering when not much was happening. Eventually they noticed some changes, parts sticking out, thin layers of 'egg' with limbs poking through.
Inside the egg was a dinosaur! We are currently thinking of a name for our new dinosaur. This kick starts our topic for the next two weeks, finding out about dinosaurs!
