Funky fingers!

The funky fingers challenge this week was to thread the right amount of beads onto the pipe cleaners then match to the correct numeral. 

Space!

We painted the Earth and Moon papier mache models this afternoon.

For Friday fun time this afternoon we made some Milky Way smoothies!

Papier Mache Planets!

This afternoon we began a project to make some papier mache planets! We used a balloon for the mould.

Fluffy is back!

We completed the last of the challenges on Friday, including a fun morning where we all worked in groups and moved around a range of different activities. The children worked well together and enjoyed working in teams! They were really excited to have Fluffy back!

Alien challenge for today!

Our challenge today was to read some words and decide if they were real words or alien (nonsense) words. 

Aliens invade!

Something extraordinary happened today... Mrs Hilton came to tell us all about some strange goings on in our outdoor garden. An alien spaceship had crash landed in the mud area.











Mrs Hilton read a letter that was left with the spaceship. It was from Orson the alien!

Orson has taken our class teddy, Fluffy, and set us some challenges to win him back! The children are really excited and eager to complete the challenges and rescue Fluffy Bear! Each child has been given a stamp chart to complete throughout the week,

Today's challenge was to count moon rock onto planets - the children couldn't wait to achieve their first stamp!

We looked outside where the alien's spaceship crash landed - what a sight!

There were alien footprints where Orson had walked into school!



The children will complete the rest of the challenges throughout the week to win Fluffy Bear back!
